Laurie Shaw: Team leader of scientists in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data science.
Laurie
has a PhD in computational astrophysics from the University of Cambridge. He
was at Harvard University, where he led work on applications of spatiotemporal
data (tracking) in team sports. He wrote a blog, EightyFivePoints, that applies
data science to football analysis.
Ravi Mistry: Head Football Insights.
Ravi's
main function is to empower, enable and educate his football practitioners to
use visual analysis to make better football decisions, reducing the time to
obtain information. Additionally, ensure the delivery of clearly communicated
practical knowledge that positively impacts team performance.
John-Mark Sisman: Performance Physicist.
Since
July 2020, its role is to accelerate the application of physics-based concepts
to solve football-focused performance challenges.
Chris Baker: Talent ID Coordinator.
Responsible
for coordinating scouting operations and data integration in the process.
Maram Al Baharna: Insights Analyst.
He
defines himself as a person with insatiable curiosity, where his passion has
always been research. He spent years cultivating it in the world of finance and
economics and now developing it in computing for the future of football
analytics.
